Contractor (1099) Payment Statement Template
Independent contractors aren't employees, so they don't get a pay stub with tax withholding. Contractors handle their own taxes, and you generally report what you paid them on a Form 1099-NEC instead of a W-2. What a contractor can use is a simple payment statement or receipt: who paid whom, for what work, the dates, and the amount.
